You upload a photo of your pet, pick a style, and we make a painting of them in it. Each painting costs one credit. Lienzo is run by [legal entity and address — to be confirmed].

New accounts start with 3 free credits while our launch offer lasts (it covers the first 1,000 accounts). An invite may come with extra credits. You can buy more in packs. One credit makes one lienzo, and a remix of an existing lienzo costs one too.

Credits last 2 months (60 days) from your last top-up. Buying more resets the clock on all of them — including any that had already expired, which come back. Your free credits are on the same clock.

If a painting fails, we give the credit back automatically. If it comes out broken, we try again before giving up, and if it still fails you get the credit back and can try another photo.

Your photo stays yours. Uploading it gives us permission to use it to make your lienzo — nothing else.

Your lienzos are yours to use — print them, post them, put them on a mug. We do not claim them, and we will not use them to advertise Lienzo without asking you first.

The styles are inspired by works of art, most of them long out of copyright. A lienzo is a new image in the spirit of one, not a copy of it.

Upload photos of pets you have the right to upload. Do not upload other people’s photos, photos of people, or anything illegal or hateful. We check uploads for a pet and turn away the ones that are not — but the responsibility is yours.

If an account is used to abuse the service, we may suspend it. We will tell you why.

Art is a gamble. Some lienzos are wonderful, some miss. Spending a credit buys you an attempt, not a specific outcome — but you never pay for a failed one.

Lienzo is in beta. Things break, change, and occasionally get better. We are not liable for what you do with a lienzo once you have it.

On the website, prices are in euros and shown before you pay. Payments go through Stripe; we never hold your card details. Bought credits there and changed your mind before using any? Email [contact email — to be confirmed] and we will refund you.

In the iPhone and Android apps, credits are bought through the App Store or Google Play, at the price and in the currency the store shows you. Apple or Google takes the payment, and their own terms for purchases apply to it alongside these.

Refunds for app purchases go through Apple or Google, not through us. The store took the payment, so only the store can give it back — we cannot refund a store purchase ourselves. Ask Apple (Report a Problem) or Google Play (your order history). If they refund you, the credits from that purchase are removed from your balance.

We do not sell prints or other physical products right now. If we start, these terms will say how ordering, shipping and returns work before any order is possible — and prints would be paid for on the web, never through the App Store or Google Play.

Delete your account from the Account page whenever you like. It takes your lienzos and your pet photos with it, permanently, and any unused credits go too. See the privacy page for exactly what is erased and what is kept.
